About Ar-Rashad
Ar-Rashad is a platform dedicated to promoting research and education in Islamic studies. We provide a range of resources for students, researchers, and the general public, including books, articles, short courses and full Alimiyyah courses. Our mission is to foster a greater understanding and appreciation of Islam, and to promote dialogue and cooperation amongst the Ummah. We also host events throughout the year, including lectures, seminars, and conferences.
Our Story
Our journey began with the intention of enlightening the minds, strengthening understanding and contributing to the advancement of knowledge in Islamic Studies. Founded with unwavering passion and dedication by Shaykh Faizulhaq Abdulaziz حفظه الله. Ar-Rashad stands as a beacon of intelligent research, and provides a place where trust, research and networking come together.
Vision of the Founder
Alhamdu Lillah, Ar-Rashad was conceptualised in 2013 and was bought to fruition in Rabi' Al Awwal 1445h, September 2023. At the heart of Ar-Rashad’s beginnings was the profound vision of our founder, Shaykh Faizulhaq Abdulaziz حفظه الله., who graduated from Europe's pioneer Islamic Institute called Darul Uloom, Bury, UK. Shaykh has studied Qur'an, Sunnah, Aqidah and many other Islamic sciences under the senior scholars of Europe such as Shaykh Yusuf Motala رحمه الله, Shaykh Hashim Patel, Shaykh Muhammad Bilal Bawa, Shaykh Mufti Shabbir Ahmad, Shaykh AbdurRaheem Limbada, Shaykh Muhammad Tahir, Shaykh Naushad AbdulAziz, Mufti Ibrahim Raja حفظهم الله and others.
Since Shaykh's graduation, he has been actively engaged in Da'wah and educational activities. Currently Shaykh serves as the Vice Principal and the senior lecturer of Hadith at the well-known Islamic Institute, Jamia Islamia Birmingham. He is also the Director of Birmingham Muslim Foundation and the Khateeb of Taqwa Masjid in Birmingham. Shaykh travels around the UK and abroad regularly to deliver inspirational lectures and also on live TV channels. Shaykh is the editor of the "Ar-Rashad" magazine which promotes Da'wah and education. From Shaykh's experience and dedication for many years teaching Islamic Studies, Ar-Rashad was initiated to expand the propagation of Islam.
